Lisa Avery, a full time writer and artist, holds a BS degree in Interior Design from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She has worked in Chicago and Austin, TX, as an account executive for a marketing company and in sales and customer service for an international gemstone company. She currently resides in Austin, TX.
